Atypical isolated
ventricular noncompaction (IVNC) in a 36 year old woman with ventricular
tachycardia
|
History
|
This is the case of
a 36 year old woman, who developed symptomatic ventricular tachycardia
at a heart rate of 213 bpm. She was found to have isolated noncompaction
of the ventricular anteriorer wall, detected occasionally on left heart
catheterization. Echocardiography and MRI were performed to confirm the
diagnosis. The case was presented at the Echocardiographers Meeting in
Lucerne, 10. January 2001. The main findings are represented here.
